Making tea pots is more like meditation to me.
Here are some tea pots I made during those "snow days". I will use some of them to run glaze-blending tests and post later.
They look great! I have yet to come close to getting a good tea pot made- so many components...and the spout always throws me off. Thanks for showing the different stages.
Oh, those are nice, I noticed earlier today that each of your spots looks a little different or is that my imagination, each one a little longer or a slightly different angle than the other. Nice to hear this is oolong season, Gary, my husband and I enjoyed meeting you at the clay and blogs show, thanks for stopping in at my blog I added your blog to my blog roll. I like your new background with the leaves very spring like and of course natural green. Ha!

Hi Tom, I used some techniques I learned from your workshop back in Illinois.
ReplyDeleteMeredith, thank you. I hope you enjoy the oolong tea!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, I made the body of spout little bigger so I have more room to cut it and adjut its angle to fit on tea pot.
